Slower waves unwind the fascia to restore tissues to more efficient resting lengths by stretching tighter myofascial directions. When combined with deeper diaphragmatic breathing, slower waves achieve lasting changes in the connective tissues that increase flexibility.

Benefits

  • Improved sense of mobility, flexibility and posture
  • Reduction in muscles soreness and tension
  • Reduced risk of injury - especially sprains and strains
  • Release of endorphins to reduce stress

What to Expect

The fascial stretch therapy session is performed by a certified Fascial Stretch Therapist.  It takes place on a massage table and incorporates comfortable straps used to stabilize the limbs or part of the body that is not being worked on. This facilitates relaxation and enhances the effectiveness of the technique.

Fascial Stretch Therapy

Fascial Stretch Therapy™ is an assisted table-based stretching system that focus on the fascia as the key element in achieving optimal flexibility, strength, performance and pain relief.

It opens the joints and surrounding muscles so you move with more ease and less tension. Fascia is the connective tissue that surrounds and invests all structures of the body. A common problem is that fascia will thicken and shorten when any of your tissues are under stress from poor posture, lack of exercise, injury, surgery, disease or most commonly from over-training.  FST™ can completely treat inflexible fascia at the deepest level by combining stretching with tractioning of the joint. We help to make your layers of fascia become more pliable and hydrated...then joint range of motion, muscle strength and flexibility immediately improve making it easier for you to train, maintain and have freedom of movement.  Clinical studies have shown that this form of stretching can increase flexibility by up to 52% in just one session.

FST before training:

Fast to very fast waves used during warm-ups either before an athletic event or before a training session to maximize strength, speed and range of motion. Athletes in fascial stretch programs have been found to recover more quickly between training sessions and improve active range of motion from 36 percent to 52 percent greater in athletes than other stretching methods.
